Aberforth is the bartender at the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade, as revealed by J.K. Rowling in an interview. She first provided hints of this in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, when Harry noted a strong odour of goats in his bar and felt that he looked familiar (he had been shown a photo of Aberforth earlier in the book, and as Albus Dumbledore's brother, he looks like him). In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry sees him in the company of Mundungus Fletcher, who appeared to be selling stolen goods from Grimmauld Place. This, despite Sirius telling Harry that Mundungus has a life time ban from the Hog's Head for offending Aberforth and that Aberforth has a long memory. The last we've seen of him is at the end of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince attending his brother's funeral.

Please credit shadowarmadillo, as that is me.
Inferi: imprints of a departed soul that are used, not unlike zombies, by Voldemort and the Death Eaters to attack. They are the bodies of a once living soul that has been killed by this group. Now... what could that possibly have anything to do with Order of the Phoenix members Lily Evans and James Potter?

Dark lord
I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can.
I face death in the hope that when you meet your match you will be mortal once more.
R.A.B.

The Quaffle:
As we know from Gertie Keddle's diary, the Qaffle was from earliest times made of leather. Alone of the four balls, the Quaffle was not originally enchanted, but merely a patched leather ball, often with a strap as it had to be caught and thrown one-handed. Some old Quaffles have finger holes. With the discovery of the Gripping Charms in 1875, straps and finger holes have become unecessary, as the Chaser is able to keep a one-handed hold on the charmed learter without such aids.

Zacharias Mumps describes the 14th Century pithc as oval-shaped, 500ft. long, and a 180ft wide with a smalll central circle in the middle. Mumps tells us that the referee carried the 4 balls into this central circle while the 14 players stood around him. The moment the balls were released and the Quaffle thrown by the Ref., the players raced into the air. The goalosts in Mumps's time were still large baskets on poles.

In 1398 the wizard Zacharias Mumps set down the first full description of the game of Quidditch. He began by emphasising the need for anti-Muggle security while playing the game: "Choose areas of deserted moorland far from Muggle habitations and make sure that you cannot be seen once you take off on your brooms. Muggle-repelling Charms are useful if you are setting up a permanent pitch. It is advisable, too, to play at night."
