After three years of waiting, those are the first words you will ever read in the book:

The hottest day of the summer so far was drawing to a close and a drowsy silence lay over the large, square houses of Privet Drive.....The only person left outside was a teenage boy who was lying flat on his back in a flowerbed outside number four.




Simple Facts about the book

The American edition will be 896 pages, the British one 768
The book will have 255,000 words. This makes it almost 30% larger than the previous book in the Harry Potter series
Plot: A few interesting quetions to be answered!

"Dumbledore lowered his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses.'It is time,' he said 'for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry. Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.' "
A "venemous, disgruntled" house-elf will stand in Harry's way. It is suspected its name will be ...Winky?
We will finally find out the answer to a crucial question: Why did Voldermort killed the Potters? Did this have anything to do with their profession?
Main Characters

Gryffindor are out of keeper this season, and...guess what? Ron will have a new assignment in the quidditch team!
Ginny Weasley: After her important yet poor role in book2, now it is time for the younger member of the Weasley family to prove what she is capable of
One of the main characters will die (not Hermione or Ron)
Harry's parents come once more in the middle of the story. We will learn more about their profession and even more about the significance of Harry's eyes color (it is the samw as his mother's, remember?)
Other people: many of the magicians and creatures who had starred in the previous books are back demanding our attention!

A close friend will die. As we said above, this will be neither Ron nor Hermione!
The last 3 years at Hogwarts will represent mostly an inner struggle between the easy and the morale!
Short Facts

During an interview J. Rowling revealed that Harry Potter may have a diferent pet in the future: Not a dragon though, cos they can not be tamed.
She was also asked in which Hogwarts room she would like to be, and she replied that she would go to a room Harry has already visited but had failed to grasp its significance! Can you guess which one this could be?
